What is the opportunity?

Do you enjoy talking to people, identifying and pursuing new opportunities, developing partnerships while making a difference in broker’s businesses and their clients’ lives?  If so, this role as a Life Senior Sales Consultant may be for you!  

What will you do?

As a Senior Sales Consultant, you will be developing relationships through networking and working within the broker community, partnering with brokers to help grow and develop their practices – specifically their Life Insurance business, conducting joint field work and training brokers on RBC Insurance’s Life Insurance products, and achieving growth and sales targets within your assigned territory. There will also be occasion to present to larger audiences of brokers and represent RBC insurance at various industry events and conferences. You will be rewarded by the benefits of a high earning potential position with RBC’s generous Total Rewards Package.

Here’s what we need from you:

Must-have

Professional sales experience that demonstrates a hunger and passion achieved through opportunity spotting, cross-selling, and meeting/exceeding targetsA talent for listening, establishing trust with prospects, a dedication to finding the right solutions for clientsAn existing network of referrals and/or centres of influenceA flair for building relationships and a strong work ethicA LLQP (Life License) and a University degree or equivalent with CFP, CLU or other industry designation an assetLife Insurance Sales or Wholesaling experienceCapability of travelling for business (within territory and in other provinces)

 Nice to Have

Extensive knowledge of the Life market - specifically Participating Whole Life (PAR) products, and an understanding of the MGA distribution model

The expected salary for the above position is $90,000 depending on factors including but not limited to the candidate’s experience, skills, registration status; market conditions; and business needs.

This position may be eligible to receive a discretionary/variable incentive payout.”
