Job Description Job Purpose Motivated high sales achiever. The position requires an individual to be responsible for providing clients with a high level of professionalism, whilst maximising the revenue opportunities for the company. This includes identifying and generating new business opportunities and closing sales. Achieve personal sales target with the will to drive for over target performance. Initiating and managing sales campaigns, working with other divisions of Interactive Data to ensure cross-selling activities are carried out. Continually review competitive landscape and identify leads and new areas of direction for the business. Provide Sales Management with weekly and monthly updates versus targets. Accurate forecasting. Contribute to business growth in ASEAN region Responsibilities Winning new business opportunities within the region including commercial agreement, negotiation and closing new business. Generation of new business opportunities through partnerships. Provide effective proposals to prospects. Provide regular management feedback on pipeline activity and sales targets. Be actively involved in the promotion and positioning of Interactive Data in Asia. Feedback to management team regarding key issues in the market place. Represent the company at industry groups and working parties - where practical. A natural self starter and the ability to use own initiative is absolutely crucial to the success in this role. The ability to communicate well with clients and internal colleagues from all business units and levels. The desire and drive to meet and exceed targets / business objectives. Relate to all levels both within IDC and external organisations. Highly results driven. Excellent time management skills with ability to multi-task. Excellent written and verbal communications skills. Maintain effective relationships with individuals and the team as a whole. Decisive under pressure. Self-confident and assertive. Ability to motivate key staff and recognise any issues early. Achieve high level of performance from oneself. Work as a team player - able to interface and liaise effectively with a variety of different kinds of contributors and personalities. Shares own knowledge and encourage other team members to do so. Ability to ‘roll up’ sleeves and apply oneself to any task within the team, including administration. Able to build team morale and motivate others by recognising their contribution. Knowledge and Experience Demonstrative record of high achievement of sales in the financial sector. Minimum 5 years market experience with relevant understanding of front, middle and back office functions. Experience of having worked in either a back office or front office preferably. Proven track record of strong sales in financial services industry. Proficient PC applications skills (Microsoft word, Excel, PowerPoint) as well as knowledge of key competitive offerings. Higher education level; degree level preferred. Must be able to speak English Preferred Demonstrated abilities in building strong commercial relationships. Appreciation of the range of business cultures across Asia. Experience in dealing with remote team members and selling in to new markets. Regional sales experience Economic degree Chinese Mandarin would be a bonus but not essential Schedule This role offers work from home flexibility of one day per week.
