Location: The candidate should be based in France (ideally) but can also be based in Luxembourg, Belgium or Italy
Your future role
In this role, you will lead the strategic relationship with major OEMs on behalf of Goodyear, primarily for the French/Italian Cluster with Coordination with Turkey - but with global scope, liaising with Americas and A&P to coordinate an aligned proposition.
You will be accountable for the further development of the key accounts' plans and value propositions, with the aim of winning the targeted platforms and share of business. You will be accountable for managing existing business, price negotiations while identifying tactical growth opportunities and cost saving programs. You will develop and maintain strategic accounts' plans and relationship maps, ensuring that Goodyear is well connected within the organisation - managing daily operational relationships while leading key negotiations.
This role leads a cross functional team serving our customers - including Manufacturing, Logistics, Quality and R&D - and has a high-profile scope in representing the customer across Goodyear to deliver the highest quality of service, thus requiring a confident and experienced professional.
Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
Manage Customer Relationship
Be the main point of contact for the customer externally & internally, as the operational OE business representative to the different functions at the customer in cooperation with company support functions (Technology, QA, Supply Chain…). Aligning Goodyear functions to provide excellent customer service to the OEM, including coordination of global interaction with Goodyear's other regions. Support customer strategic planning activities, develop, implement and be accountable for delivering the Key Account Plan for the OEM customer. Contribute significantly to define and develop business planning and strategies including AOP, RvCC, Roadmap - Deliver related background data.
Deliver the numbers
Execute and deliver the operational plans/strategies & be responsible for the achievement of the objectives: AOP, volume, GP. Relevant KPIs Deliver the required nominations. Pricing strategy on SKU level. Own Risk&Opps management. Drive demand planning process and content.
Contribute to PCP input
Fully support the introduction of new products in coordination with all Goodyear involved functions, in line with the established processes, including the PCP, Stage Gate process.
Provide market and competitive intelligence
Generate 1st hand information from multiple customer touchpoints (R&D/ purchasing/ technical) to increase customer insights and enable us to tailor our customer strategy
To join our team, it will require you having:
(Commercial) experience in automotive industry sales or purchasing 7-9 years. Experience of managing a major OEM relationship in a high-level Sales role. Experience in OE related project management. Excellent negotiation skills in complex negotiations
