What You Will Do:
Revenue Driver: Proactively solicit, negotiate, and secure business from key accounts to maximize hotel revenue and achieve business goals.
Sales Hunter: Identify and pursue new business opportunities through calls, networking, community events, and strategic partnerships.
Industry Connector: Represent the hotel at tradeshows, client events, and brand forums while actively engaging in industry organizations to expand influence.
Relationship Builder: Develop and maintain strong client relationships through personalized engagement, strategic proposals, and effective negotiations.
Strategic Thinker: Utilize revenue management strategies to recommend corporate rate proposals and optimize financial performance.
Results-Oriented Negotiator: Respond to RFPs with competitive, customized proposals to secure new business and drive hotel growth.
Sales Strategist: Develop, execute, and refine sales action plans while maintaining an organized, up-to-date contact management system.
Deal Closer: Negotiate and finalize contracts that align with hotel objectives, ensuring optimal guest volume and business patterns.
What We’re Looking For:
Sales Powerhouse: 5+ years of experience in large-group sales at a full-service hotel, consistently exceeding revenue goals.
Revenue Driver: Proven success managing a sales goal of at least $2M, securing high-value contracts, and driving business growth.
Market Expert: Strong background in selling to large groups within existing markets, leveraging industry insights for strategic success.
Education Advantage: Bachelor’s degree in Sales & Marketing, Business, or a related field preferred—or equivalent hands-on experience.
Industry Certified: CMP certification is a plus, showing dedication to professional growth and excellence in event planning.
Tech-Savvy Seller: Proficiency in Delphi.fdc or Marriott CI/TY to streamline sales operations and maximize efficiency.
Road Warrior: Comfortable with travel—up to 25%—to attend client meetings, industry events, and tradeshows to grow business.
Detail-Oriented Closer: A strategic thinker who builds strong client relationships, negotiates effectively, and secures contracts that align with business goals.
