\n\n\nIn this role, you will report directly to the Assistant Director of Sales and Marketing. This position will start immediately.
\n\nThe ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
\n\nExcellent communication skills in all aspects: verbal, written and nonverbal.\n3-5 years’ experience in a comparable position in a Luxury hotel operation.\nExcellent knowledge of all aspects of Luxury market segments.\nPossess excellent organizational and administrative skills.\nQuality driven with a passion for excellence in guest service and satisfaction.\nApproachable, open minded and fair.\nWillingness and capacity to learn and apply new systems.\nProficient in OnQ and Delphi.fdc.\n\nDesirable:
\n\nPrevious experience managing and/or coordinating the sales process preferably for a Luxury property.\nPrior experience working with West Coast clientele.\nCapability to use Excel to generate and interpret data reports on business volume from sales territory and individual sales progress reports.\nCapability to use PowerPoint beyond required presentation skills and proactively create compelling up to date presentations for the sales team and other hotel departments to use in operations.\n\n\nWhat will I be doing?
\nAs a Senior Sales Manager, you will manage and prospect for accounts as designated by the Director of Sales & Marketing to support the established sales goals for the hotel. This will require travel to assigned tradeshows, outside appointments and management of various accounts.
\n\nResponsible for booking group business by assigned territory.\nTraveling to West Coast market and to tradeshows to meet clients and\nBacking up other team members and their market during their travel – fostering comradery.\nThoroughly get to know the competitive marketplace.\nProficient product knowledge of Conrad Orlando.\nReview and discuss sales goals with Director of Sales & Marketing.\nPlan site inspections and client trips and ongoing sales trips as required.\nCreate and implement strategic prospecting plan and sales action plan for review.\nActively participate, orchestrate, and initiate projects and meetings as required to achieve sales goals.\nMeet and exceed monthly, quarterly and annual sales goals.\nEntertain potential and existing clientele to develop and maintain relationships.\nMethodically solicit potential clients for future business on an ongoing basis.\nConduct outside sales calls and highly polished presentations to current and prospective clients.\nCollaborate with the events and operations team to ensure seamless service.\nAttend hotel and industry related functions and tradeshows.\nParticipation in annual budget and marketing plan.\nParticipation in monthly forecasting and month end recaps.\nPlan and operate “FAMiliarization visits” for targeted meeting planners.\nAbility to take on additional tasks assigned by Director of Sales and Marketing.\n\nWhat are we looking for?
