Why Join Us | DuPont Careers (https://careers.dupont.com/us/en/whyjoinus) **Role Description: Key Account Manager (KAM) – Specialty Nutrition** The Key Account Manager (KAM) – Specialty Nutrition will be responsible for both key account management and business development within the specialty nutrition market for DuPont Water Solutions. This includes selling and promoting DuPont's ion exchange resins and reverse osmosis products directly to end-users in North America (United States and Canada) in markets such as beet sugar, cane sugar, organic acids, beer, wine, and juices. The KAM will work with existing customers while actively developing new leads and strategic account plans tailored to the specialty nutrition sector. **Key Responsibilities:** + Deliver yearly revenue and profit targets for assigned customers. + Develop and lead the execution of strategic account plans for key customers in the specialty nutrition market, including setting quarterly and yearly sales targets. + Identify and engage potential new business opportunities in specialty nutrition, driving growth and expanding DuPont's market presence. + Facilitate relationships across the customer’s organization, from purchasing to R&D, to gain a comprehensive understanding of their needs. + Negotiate contracts, price changes, and sales deals specifically for specialty nutrition products to drive sales growth and innovation. + Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams, including customer service, technical service, marketing, and R&D, to accomplish objectives focused on specialty nutrition. + Maintain all key account information in SalesForce, concentrating on nutritional solutions, customer insights, and business development initiatives. **Key Competencies:** + **Sales Skills:** Strong demonstrated competency in strategic account management and business development within the specialty nutrition market. + **Customer Relationships:** Ability to develop strong relationships and understand the unique needs of customers in specialty nutrition. + **Business Acumen:** Quickly understand the specialty nutrition business model, competitive positioning, and financial goals. + **Communication & Collaboration:** Effective communication with stakeholders in the nutrition sector. + **Analysis & Judgment:** Strong skills in recognizing issues or opportunities specific to specialty nutrition and translating them into actionable insights. **Requirements:** + Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in relevant fields such as nutrition, food science, chemistry, or business. + Experience in a business setting working directly with customers in roles such as sales, customer service or technical service. + Willingness to travel up to 50%. **Preferences:** + Experience with ion exchange and reverse osmosis technology. + Previous experience in the specialty nutrition markets of beet sugar, cane sugar, organic acids, beer, wine, and juices. + Skills in negotiation, key account management, and business development. + Experience working directly with end users. + Experience utilizing Salesforce.
