In this role, the Sales Specialist is responsible for establishing sales objectives and devising sales activities that support these objectives

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Sales Specialist is responsible for achieving sales targets and general customer service in the geographical areas of responsibility.Complete familiarization with all products in the ARDx PortfolioDevelop annual sales and marketing plans for the full range of products in the geographical area of responsibilityAchieve set sales targetsEstablish strategies and tactics and then promote Alere products to the customer base in order to differentiate Alere products from competitors and to further demonstrate the product’s utility different indicationsCreating awareness of Alere products amongst KOL’s and KDM’s in order to expand existing businessSupport the Sales and Marketing team at congresses and conferencesDevelop and maintain relationships with an assigned customer base, including key accounts, always ensuring their satisfaction with products and servicesOrganize and manage product evaluationsMonitor and report on competitive activitiesManagement of sales pipeline and analysis of sales by customer, product, business unitCapturing of Customer Visit data on Vantage Data (Customer Visit report system)Other responsibilities as assignedComplete familiarisation of, and adherence to Compliance policiesResponsible for implementing and maintaining the effectiveness of the ARDX Quality SystemParticipate in congresses/conferences, sales meetings where requiredKeep up to date with market developmentsContinually enhance sales skills and product knowledge in order to promote a professional image in the fieldResponsible for implementing and maintaining the effectiveness of the RDX Quality SystemProduct Complaint handling

Qualifications

•           BSc/BA/National Diploma (MedTech) or related discipline

Experience:

Minimum of 5 years’ experience as in a sales representative tole role ideally within the IVD, Molecular diagnostics industryMust have dealt with MoH (ministry of Health), KOL’s and clinicsEnglish/ written and spoken is mandatory
