Senior Sales Strategy & Operations Analyst
About The RoleThe Senior Strategy & Operations Analyst is a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills. They are a key partner in driving results around sales rep productivity and efficiency, while helping the teams scale to meet our rapid growth and profitability targets. This person will be an owner of sales territory planning, analytics, and execution across the Sales organization, including the task of making recommendations for hiring based on financial plan, taking into account capacity increases, geographic location, and headcount attrition.

They will be able to apply their experience and industry know-how to define, develop and execute against a workforce strategy, own projects from start to end, and will work cross functionally with our sales leadership, business intelligence and other strategic teams. They will focus on innovation and excellence for the sales planning capability of our rapidly growing business.

What You Get To Do Everyday

Maintain a working knowledge of the entire end-to-end Sales process at TRR

Construct optimized territories and efficiently address operational issues to ensure sales effectiveness

Own modeling of the sales labor workforce, partnering with the Senior Manager, Sales Operations to inform long term labor decisions as well as day to day forecasting for cross-functional teams

Ensure data integrity and accuracy within all forecast/headcount models by developing and performing logical quality assurance functions

Drive special projects and provide analytical support to senior Sales leaders

Develop, instrument, and maintain sales Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and support the rhythm of the business through weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting

Conduct various “what-if” scenarios to assess volume, headcount, performance and cost impact to changes in the business

Interact and consult with Recruiting, Strategy & Operations, and Training & Enablement on matters of talent acquisition, training, hiring and attrition

Create accurate, timely management level reporting

Build and maintain trust with key stakeholders and business partners across a fast-paced, collaborative environment

What You Bring To The Role

Minimum Requirements:

3-5 years of work experience in relevant analytical fields, e.g., sales operations, consulting, etc.

Expert knowledge of Excel and experience in financial modeling required

Ability to present voluminous data in a concise, clear manner and derive actionable business insight

Experience developing/improving processes and creating plans to increase efficiency

Strong team player; experience working effectively cross-functionally and across different levels of the company

Proven track record of managing and executing large projects from start to finish, including project management, data gathering and modeling, problem solving and communicating recommendations

High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work effectively with tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Strong sense of ownership, urgency and drive

Ability to Travel 5%

Preferred Requirements:

Education in Business Analytics, Economics, or a related field 

Experience with sales workforce management and planning

Looker experience, SQL knowledge, Salesforce certification

The expected salary range for this role is $97,920.00-$120,000.00. To determine starting pay we carefully consider a variety of factors, including primary work location and an evaluation of a candidate’s skills, experience, market demands, and internal parity. Additionally, salary is just one component of TRR’s total rewards package. Depending on role, employees may also be eligible for a bonus program, incentive pay and benefits.
