The Position

We are seeking a Senior SAP MM Consultant to support the Direct Procurement initiatives, under the Source to Settle team. In this role, you will contribute to the design, implementation, and optimization of our global Direct Procurement solution while collaborating with cross-functional teams. This position is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in SAP MM and an eagerness to develop their skills in a dynamic environment.

What will you do?

Assist in the implementation of the Direct Procurement solution, ensuring alignment with the objectives set by the Source to Settle Lead and the Global Supplier Management Value Team.Contribute to the configuration of SAP MM, specifically tailored to Direct Procurement, to ensure that the system meets business requirements.Work collaboratively with stakeholders to support project initiatives and address challenges.Project Participation: Play a key role in the successful execution of assigned projects, contributing to the management of scope, timelines, and budgets.Assist in managing relationships with outsourced vendors to ensure that deliverables meet quality standards and project requirements.Support the adherence to regulatory commitments and industry best practices within the Direct Procurement processes.Collaborate with other work streams and Application Maintenance Services leads to facilitate integration and ongoing support.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience Required

University degreeA minimum of 3 years of experience in SAP MM, with foundational knowledge of SAP ECC or S/4HANA configuration. Experience with Output determination, Master Data (Material master, PIR, source lists, etc.), Release strategies, Pricing & Tax is essentialFamiliarity with integrations such as Ariba, FieldGlass, and Master Data Governance is advantageousBasic knowledge of cross-module integration within SAP, including MM, PP, QM, WM, or LogisticsAt least one completed implementation cycleProficient in English, with strong verbal and written communication capabilitiesAbility to contribute to multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks effectively and participating in various project phases, including Solution Design, Testing, Cutover, and Go-Live

Nice to have

Experience with Agile methodologiesBackground in the Life Sciences or pharmaceutical industryFamiliarity with project management tools such as JIRA, HP/ALM, or ServiceNow
