In this position... 
Ford is implementing SAP ERP across several different domains to significantly reduce the size and complexity of Ford's technical footprint, emphasize differentiating capabilities, and to transform and standardize its business processes.  As a part of this modernization, new SAP technologies are being on boarded which will have to be engineered for use by Ford teams and guidance developed to direct the teams on best practices on the use of these


What you'll do...
Lead SAP platform architecture activities leveraging SAP products, and Ford standard services. Platform architecture will focus on designing the SAP platform eco-system, establishing architectures, and development tools and enablers for program teams
Establish a POV on the SAP Platform architecture, engineer the platform for use by different program teams and develop guidance and best practice for program teams 
Define best practices and methodologies including CI/CD for development of functionality using BTP services
Design SAP Platform ecosystems with high availability for global usage
Establish and maintain reference architectures for SAP S4 and BTP development 
Perform POCs to establish platform tooling and services.
Evaluate new technologies and engineer these technologies for use at Ford
Define architecture and best practices for ensuring platform performance and engage with the product teams and SAP in addressing performance issues with the platform
Deliver the detailed technical design, such as data management, system integration, reporting, monitoring and user experience.
Guide the program teams in SAP ERP implementation including modernizing from other technologies to S4 and BTP
Ensure secure connectivity is established between the different components in cloud and on-prem
Plan and enable regular technology renewal aligned with technology lifecycle
Thrive in a fast-paced working norm and manage multiple deliverables simultaneously.
Collaborate closely with SAP, System Integrators, Ford IT and Business teams to meet program timings and enterprise objectives.


You'll have... 
Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or Engineering or related field
10+ years of relevant industry experience implementing SAP and other software
5+ years of hands-on experience in managing or implementing in SAP platforms such as development, basis, etc.
2+ releases of SAP S/4HANA implementation 


Even better, you may have...
Master of Science degree in Computer Science or Engineering or related field
12+ years of relevant industry experience implementing SAP and other software
7+ years of hands-on experience in managing or implementing in SAP platforms such as development, basis, etc.
3+ releases of SAP S/4HANA implementation 
In depth technical knowledge of S/4HANA eco-system, including RISE cloud, BTP cloud, and GRC.
Strong hands-on PoC skills leveraging CDS View, ABAP, HANA Query, and Java
Technical knowledge and experience one or more of these technologies will be nice to have: Informatica MDM, GCP, HANA Database, Big Query, QlikSense Reporting, Linux operating systems, and enterprise integration.
