We are seeking a highly skilled Scheduler to generate and manage schedules, disseminate schedule data to the program team, and drive the planning process to ensure program schedules accurately reflect how the work is accomplished. The Scheduler will also provide performance updates and related data to aid the team in making sound decisions. This role involves developing and maintaining integrated project schedules to support the execution of the program and ensuring projects are tracked consistently through the life cycle of the program and delivered on time.
Responsibilities
+ Generate schedules and disseminate schedule data to the program team.
+ Aid in driving the planning process to ensure program schedules accurately reflect how the work is accomplished.
+ Provide performance updates and related data to aid the team in making sound decisions.
+ Develop and maintain integrated project schedules to support the execution of the program.
+ Ensure projects are tracked consistently through the life cycle of the program and delivered on time.
+ Regularly status schedules that are currently in execution.
+ Work with functional leads and control account managers to obtain accurate schedule and performance data.
+ Perform schedule risk and critical path analysis as required.
+ Assist in resolving critical path and schedule logic conflicts.
+ Generate reports for management, including presentation material.
+ Assist the program manager in assessing schedule performance.
+ Identify and facilitate resolution or mitigation planning for critical schedule risks and issues.
+ Ensure compliance with contractual deliveries as dictated by data item description (DID) and contract data requirements list (CDRL) or similar customer requirements.
Essential Skills
+ Advanced proficiency in project scheduling software (MS Project) and Enterprise Resource Planning (i.e., Costpoint) data integration.
+ PMI scheduling or project management professional (PMI-PMP or PMI-SP) certification.
+ Active DoD issued Secret Clearance.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with PERT and earned value management (EVM) metrics.
Work Environment
The Scheduler will work in a dynamic and collaborative environment, utilizing advanced project scheduling software and Enterprise Resource Planning tools. The position requires strict adherence to compliance with contractual deliveries and may involve working with classified information, necessitating an active DoD issued Secret Clearance.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $140000.00/yr.
The Senior Scheduler prepares, maintains, and analyzes Integrated Master Plans (IMPs) and Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) to meet program objectivesRESPONSIBILITIES• Generates schedules, disseminates schedule data to the program team, aids in driving the planning process to ensure program schedules accurately reflect how the work is accomplished;and provides performance updates and related data in a format that will aid the team in making sound decisions• Develops and maintains integrated project schedules tosupport the execution of the program; ensuring projects are tracked consistently through the life cycle of the program and delivered ontime• Regularly statuses schedules that are currently in execution; works with functional leads andcontrol account managers to obtain accurate schedule and performancedata• Performs schedule risk and critical path analysis as required and assists in resolving critical path andschedulelogic conflicts• Generates reports for management to include presentation material that can include, but is not limited to, Gantt; PERT; Critical Path; earned value management (EVM) metrics, and related schedule performancedata• Assists the program manager in assessing schedule performance and identifies and facilitatesresolution or mitigation planning for critical schedule risks and issues• Ensures compliance with contractual deliveries as dictated by data item description (DID) andcontract data requirements list (CDRL) or similar customerrequirementsREQUIREMENTS• Bachelor’s Degree (B.S. or B.A.) Business, Engineering, or related field and 5-7 years of relevantproject planning and scheduling experience; or 10-12 years of project planning and scheduling experience without a degree• Experience in Program Planning &Schedulingdepartments, preferably in the defense industry sector• Experience with Microsoft Office suite and specifically Microsoft Project and Microsoft ExcelADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS• Advanced proficiency in project scheduling software (MS Project) • PMI scheduling or project management professional (PMI-PMP)(PMI-SP)• Active DoD issued Secret ClearanceSKILLSTo perform this job successfully, an individual should have:• Ability to communicate, collaborate, and work well with program managers, engineers, functional leads, and senior leadership• Ability to identify critical data aspects of project schedules and present resolutionoptions to management• A sharp eye for detail and be a quick learner• Team Player!Equal Opportunity Employer: minority / female / disability / veteran
