Senior Scheduler/Planner

THE ROLE

The Senior Scheduler is responsible for preparing, maintaining and monitoring schedules for the program and projects of varied scopes and sizes. Collaborating with the greater Engineering team, this role is integral to the delivery of cost, time and quality outcomes. This position is great for the technically minded and those who pride themselves in prioritisation and commitment to deadlines. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Prepare resource and cost loaded detailed project execution plans. Work in conjunction with key stakeholders to identify, develop and implement improvements. Manage sub-contract schedule management in line with Downer standards. Perform delay analysis as needed and support with suitable narrative. Manage project concerns and expectations of both internal and external stakeholders.

ABOUT YOU

Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Business Management or Project Management (desirable).  Minimum 5 years prior Project Scheduling experience. Proficient computer skills including MS Project or Primavera P6 (essential). Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders. High levels of verbal and written communications skills. Power BI knowledge and working experience (desirable).
