We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Scientist to join our Cell Therapy team. In this role, you will play a key part in advancing our cutting-edge cell therapy programs by driving the development, optimization, and execution of experiments to enhance the therapeutic potential of our CAR T cell products, in addition to collaborating with cross-functional teams to support discovery activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in immunology, or related fields, with demonstrated experience in cell therapy focused assay development and execution. Key Responsibilities:
+ Design, develop, and execute T cell-based experiments
+ Analyze data from in vitro studies, providing insights and recommendations to drive decision-making.
+ Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with project goals.
+ Contribute to the preparation of technical reports and data packages.
+ Aid in the mentorship and training of junior scientists and research associates, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
+ Stay current on the latest scientific and technological advancements in cell therapy and related fields, and incorporate new knowledge into ongoing projects.
+ Present findings and updates to senior leadership, internal stakeholders, and external partners as required.
+ Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and quality standards.
+ Maintain accurate and detailed records of experimental procedures, data, and results in a well-organized lab notebook, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
+ Ensure that all experiments are properly documented, reproducible, and accessible to team members and collaborators.
**Qualifications**
* Ph.D. in Cell Biology, Immunology, Molecular Biology, or a related field with 4-6 years of relevant postdoctoral or industry experience; or a Masters degree with 6 years of equivalent experience in a biopharmaceutical or biotechnology setting.
* Strong expertise in cell-based therapy research, including experience with CAR T or similar platforms is required.
* Hands-on experience with cell culture, viral transduction, cytotoxicity assays (Incucyte-based preferred) and flow cytometry is required.
* Solid understanding of immunology and tumor biology, with experience in preclinical models (in vitro and in vivo) is preferred.
* Proven ability to lead scientific projects and deliver high-quality results and recommendations in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
* Experience in preparing and reviewing technical reports is preferred.
* Demonstrated ability to analyze complex biological data sets, synthesize results, and provide actionable insights to guide experimental decisions and project strategies is required.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex scientific information to diverse audiences is required.
* Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive, innovative mindset.
* Prior experience with automation and high-throughput screening for cell-based assays is preferred.
