Key Responsibilities: Are you a highly motivated scientific professional with a solid background in immunology? If so, this Senior Scientist role may be the perfect fit for you! In this laboratory-focused position, you will support early drug discovery projects, with a particular emphasis on conducting and developing new experimental approaches to investigate the pharmacology of novel immune response modulators. The selected candidate is expected to possess excellent communication and organizational skills, present experimental results at project team meetings, and mentor junior laboratory scientists. Basic Qualifications: o BS or MS degree with a minimum of 3 years hands-on laboratory experience in Immunology. o One or more years of experience with blood and primary cell culture, flow cytometry, qPCR, ELISA, and immunoassays using major platforms such as MSD and Luminex. Preferred Qualifications o Broad understanding of cellular and molecular biology techniques, with the flexibility to adopt new technologies. o Experience with CRISPR and complex in vitro models. o Independent, self-starting and supportive of team-based research. o Previous experience in biotech and/or pharmaceutical drug discovery. o Understanding of drug discovery processes. o Capability to independently design and troubleshoot experiments to deliver results in a timely manner. o Excellent communication skills with the ability to present results to multidisciplinary matrix teams. o Ability to prioritize multiple projects, meet deadline, maintain attention to detail, and uphold high performance standards. o Flexible, focused, enthusiastic, and highly motivated. o Ability to comprehend, interpret, and communicate complex scientific data. o Excellent record keeping and organizational skills. o Please visit GSK US Benefits Summary to learn more about the comprehensive benefits program GSK offers US employees.
