Senior Scientist
Job Title: Chemistry Scientist Job Description A major biopharmaceutical company is seeking a Chemistry Scientist to provide critical support within their Method Transfer and Development Group. The site has flexible, multi-product manufacturing capabilities and facilities focused on vaccines intermediates and drug substance, and gene therapy drug substance and drug product. The vaccine manufacturing capabilities center on large-scale microbial fermentation, purification, conjugation, and cell banking. As a Scientist, you will work to transfer new methods for vaccine and monoclonal antibody intermediates to the site. Responsibilities + Transfer new methods for vaccine and monoclonal antibody intermediates to the site. + Troubleshoot assays and improve method performance. + Engage in technical writing and presentations. + Develop and validate assays. + Conduct quality control and bioanalytical testing. + Utilize molecular biology and cell-based assays, including ELISA. + HPLC, analytical chemistry Essential Skills + BS in chemistry with 10 years of industry experience, preferably in GMP; or + MS in chemistry with 8 years of industry experience, preferably in GMP; or + PhD in chemistry with 4 years of industry experience, preferably in GMP. + Extensive hands-on experience and strong experience in pharmaceutical Chemistry + Experience with troubleshooting assays and improving method performance. + Strong technical writing and presentation skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience in assay development. + Experience in method validation. + Experience in quality control. + Experience with cell-based assays. + Experience in bioanalytical testing. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $65.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
