GSK is a leader in DNA-encoded library technology, enabling exploration of novel target biology and identification of qualified hits for drug discovery programs. The primary focus of this role is to support the synthesis of novel DNA-encoded libraries and the development of new DNA compatible reactions. This is an on-site, lab-based role. Key Responsibilities: Design and synthesize novel, high-quality DNA-encoded libraries within a collaborative team Develop and optimize new DNA compatible reactions that can be employed in the production of DNA-encoded libraries Communicate key results and enable data driven decision making Share in responsibilities to support general lab functions Establish and maintain a detailed knowledge of literature related to areas of research Basic Qualifications: Master’s degree in chemistry, chemical biology or biochemistry Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, chemical biology or biochemistry with 2+ years relevant industry experience Lab-based chemistry research experience Preferred Qualifications: Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and a focus on quality results Excellent oral and written communication skills Self-motivated with an ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment High learning agility and curiosity to learn and adopt new technologies Strong interpersonal and communication skills Strong problem-solving abilities, including critical thinking skills When submitting your CV/resume, please include a Research Statement.
