Senior Scientist- Immunology

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Scientist position to join our VelociHum group. You will develop and characterize human immune system animal models for testing novel therapeutics. As a Senior Scientist, a typical day might include:

Developing and testing new animal models with a human immune system

Running flow cytometry and/or immunoassays

Isolating cells from primary human tissue

Maintaining cell cultures

Designing new genetic modifications for enhancing our human immune system mouse models

Running data analysis and presenting clear results to both immediate and broader teams

This role might be for you if you:

Have excellent verbal/written communication skills

Can effectively manage projects simultaneously and set clear priorities

Have the ability to think critically and maintain a high level of productivity in a fast-paced team

Able to work successfully in a cross-functional team both independently and as a teammate

In order to be considered for this role, you must have at least a Ph.D. and 0-3+ years of relevant experience or a BS/MS and 8-10+ years of relevant experience in immunology or a related field. Must have extensive experience with multi-color flow cytometry, ELISA, western blots, cell culture, and working with mice (surgeries, injections, harvesting, etc.). Knowledge and background in human immunology is strongly preferred, particularly work with human immune system mouse models.

$106,200.00 - $173,200.00
