Join our dynamic team as a Senior SDET/Developer, where you'll define cutting-edge test strategies and craft robust automated scripts to enhance software quality and maintainability. As a pivotal player in our organization, you'll collaborate closely with Software Engineers and Product teams, diving deep into complex application ecosystems to drive efficiency and innovation. Your expertise will guide the transformation of manual testing into streamlined automated processes, propelling our platform's testing scope and speed. With opportunities to lead process improvements and contribute to end-to-end user acceptance tests, you'll uphold our highest quality standards and elevate our platform to new heights.

We are made up of high-performing teams that meet in person to learn and collaborate as needed. This role is considered hybrid, which means you’ll be assigned to a Broadridge office and will work 2x a week in the office

Responsibilities:

Define test strategy, test suites & test cases with a focus on test automation.

Develop and maintain automated scripts promoting reusable components and maintainability.

Execute automated scripts and perform failure analysis to determine root cause of failure.

Assist with triage, diagnosis, and resolution of issues discovered across the platform.

Define and implement improvements to our existing processes and automated tools with the goal of increased testing scope and efficiency.

Work closely with Software Engineers and Product teams to understand the complex ecosystems of the different applications

Drive the conversion of manual tests to automated whenever possible.

Supporting manual testing efforts while the transition is in process.

Uphold the Platform Quality organizations standards and procedures, including our coding best practices.

Contribute to end-to-end user acceptance tests.

Work with both onshore and offshore teams to meet objectives and deadlines.

Support QA Tools and activities as needed

Qualifications

4+ years of experience as a  QA Engineer, SDET or Developer

You should have development experience

Hands-on experience with Java or Selenium.

Experience Designing, implementing, and running test cases.

Experience working with test processes, methodologies, tools, and technology.

You should be able to performing functional and UI testing, quality reporting.

Knowledge of software engineering practices and agile approaches.

Proficiency CICD integration and pipeline development in Jenkins, Spinnaker or other similar tools.

Experience in Gherkin (BDD /TDD) using Cucumber/Jbehave.

Experience using JIRA, ALM, Xray or any relevant Test management tool.

Strong desire for establishing and improving product quality.

Self-motivated and adaptable individual able to evaluate, maintain and prioritize multiple objectives simultaneously in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Willingness to take challenges head on while being part of a team.

Proficiency in UI automation (Serenity/Selenium, Robot, Watir)

Experience developing utilities using Java, Python or any scripting languages.

Compensation Range: The salary range for this position is between $105,000 - $110,000. Broadridge considers various factors when evaluating a candidate's final salary including, but not limited to, relevant experience, skills, and education.
