Your Role at Raising Cane’s:

The Senior Security Administrator is responsible for managing, and monitoring security measures to protect computer systems, networks, and data. This role works closely with other IT professionals and departments to identify and resolve security issues, ensuring information confidentiality, integrity, and availability.

Job DescriptionManages and maintains security systems, to include email protection, intrusion detection and prevention systems, malware protection, authentication systems, log management, and encryption protocolsEvaluates new security technologies, tools, and methodologies to enhance the organization's security postureCoordinates with SOC to monitor security logs and alerts, responding to and investigating security incidentsConducts regular vulnerability assessments to identify and address security vulnerabilitiesCollaborates with development and IT teams to remediate identified vulnerabilities.Integrates into a Dev/Sec/Ops processDevelops and maintains playbooks in support of the incident response planEnforces security policies, standards, and proceduresEnsures compliance with relevant regulations and standards (e.g., NIST, PCI)Provides security training and awareness programs for employees, promoting a security conscious culture within the organizationPrepares and presents security reports to managementWorks closely with other IT teams, system administrators, and developers to integrate security best practices into the development and operation of systemsCommunicates security risks and solutions to non-technical stakeholdersQualifications5+ years of progressive or combined experience in IT, Information Security, ComplianceSolid knowledge of IT administration and operationsIndustry-standard certification in information security (CEH, Security+, CISSP, etc.) a plusAble to work effectively and efficiently both independently and collaborativelyDetail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities that may be constantly changingSelf-driven, flexible, and highly energetic with strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skillsStrong situational analysis, decision-making abilities, and ability to deliver within tight deadlinesAble to work during non-standard business hours and weekends, as neededExperience with scripting and programming technologiesAble to manage and maintain effective working relationships with peers and vendorsExperience managing complex enterprise-level security administration tools and environmentsUnderstanding and application of AWS, application security, and secure software development practicesSignificant experience with SIEM, Web Filtering, Web Application Firewalls, EDR/XDRSolid understanding of vulnerability management and conducting risk analysisKnowledgeable about industry security standards, compliance, and best practicesExcellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teamsUnderstanding of the IT Security frameworks, processes, audit preparedness, and remediationAdditional Information
