Job Description

What you’ll be doing 

The Senior Security Engineer will be part of the global Identity & Access Management team to support our SailPoint IDM system activities, following the Experian global strategy working with teams sitting in multiple regions. In this role you will be responsible for the infrastructure, vulnerability management, and IIQ functional support, working in partnership with development teams and internal operational teams to make sure the new system functionalities are transitioned and supported accordingly as per business requirements. You will support the creation of system operational metrics, highlight system gaps and work in conjunction with development and application teams to mitigate any gap, as well as track and implement the identified improvement activities. 

Responsibilities

Serve as an experienced engineer within the SailPoint IIQ space with operational and development expertisePartner with application owners and Business Units to align on requirements and provide design and Implementation approachesAct as functional technical contact to support and drive a strong engineering culture while fixing or supporting production issuesPerform critical analysis to identify and resolve conflicts and break down high-level information into actionable work plansEstablish and implement robust application monitoring processes to make sure we have 24x7 alerting in placeAssist technical team members with the system/technical portion of their deliverables (e.g., test plans, implement monitoring activities, etc.)Collaborate with internal infrastructure teams to resolve incidents and alerts accordingly based on established incident response timelinesResponsible for reviewing and providing observation on technical documentation, KBA’s for our team, and other IAM functionsPerform end to end RCAs when required for our IDM systems Recommend adjustments to the technical requirements and adjust with agility to the business needs

Qualifications

What your background looks like

6+ years' of professional Identity Management (IDM) experience, with demonstrated understanding of modern IDM concepts and best practices4+ years' experience providing SailPoint application support into high availability environmentsSolid knowledge of identity data flows, engineering workflows, security roles, certification/attestation, entitlement management, SOD and access governance in SailPoint IIQ Experience with integrating SailPoint IIQ with various technologies, including ServiceNow, SAP, Azure AD, Office 365, RACF, LDAP directoriesHands on experience on Database Administration and support (Oracle, MSSQL, MySQL) Experience with various APIs including SCIM, REST, and SOAP Familiarity with programming and web technologies such as Java/Bean Shell, JavaScript, SPML/SOAP, JSFStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, and ability to provide rigorous and detailed descriptions of problems and features to product developers and managersAbility to provide RCA status and present in a well-organized mannerSelf-driven and able to clearly communicate to technical and non-technical audiencesStrong analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills
