As Senior Security Specialist you will:

Administer and coordinate DoD and other industrial security programs to ensure compliance with government and company security policies and procedures. Provides guidance and support to staff members concerning all security administrative functions, such as personnel security, information and system security, COMSEC, and physical security to ensure compliance with standards. A week in the life of a Senior Security Specialist: 

Provides administrative security support associated with the receipt, distribution, inventory, reproduction, and disposition of classified material. Supports the SAP information security program.  Ensures appropriate documentation is maintained for the accreditation and use of Special Access Program Facilities (SAPF) and Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIF). Coordinates annual and semi-annual preventive maintenance inspections and testing for SAPFs/SCIFs. Generates and tracks Program Access Requests (PARs) utilizing the Joint Access Database Environment (JADE). Administers and maintains physical security procedures for visitor control, employee identification, and safeguarding of company facilities, equipment, materials, and employee property. Develops and conducts security briefings and security education programs. Provides oversight for programs for the protection of classified information as well as proprietary information. Prepares, sends, and receives visitor certifications. Investigates losses and security violations and recommends corrective actions.
