Job Title: -- Senior ServiceNow Architect
Job Summary: -- This position is responsible for the design, development, configuration, and maintenance of the ServiceNow platform. This role supports the ITSM, ITAM, CMDB, and other ServiceNow modules by creating solutions that automate and streamline business processes. The Architect will collaborate with IT, security, and business stakeholders to configure, customize, and maintain the platform, ensuring it meets the evolving needs of the organization.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: --
ServiceNow Development & Architecture: Lead the design, develop, and implementation of complex ServiceNow solutions, including custom workflows, business rules, UI policies, client scripts, and catalog items. Architect and optimize workflows for ITSM (Incident, Problem, Change), ITAM, CMDB, and other enterprise needs. Develop and oversee advanced integrations with third-party tools using APIs, REST, SOAP, and other integration methods. Create and maintain custom robust reporting, dashboards, and performance analytics to support strategic decision-making. Collaborate with IT leadership to define and execute the ServiceNow roadmap and best practices for development. Platform Administration & Strategy: Serve as a subject matter expert for ServiceNow administration, ensuring platform stability, security, and performance optimization Develop and enforce governance policies, including role-based access controls (RBAC) and data integrity standards. Lead platform upgrades and enhancements, ensuring seamless adoption of new features and functionality. Proactively monitor platform performance and troubleshoot issues to mitigate risks and ensure high availability. Support & Maintenance: Provide ongoing support for the ServiceNow platform, troubleshooting issues and resolving incidents related to ServiceNow functionalities. Maintain up-to-date documentation on the platform’s configurations, customizations, and workflows. Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and refine ServiceNow solutions to address evolving business needs. Support user training and assist end-users in utilizing ServiceNow features effectively. Collaboration & Innovation: Work closely with the CMDB & ITAM Specialist, ITSM Process Lead, and other stakeholders to implement solutions that align with organizational objectives. Stay current with ServiceNow features, releases, and best practices, and recommend new functionalities that could enhance platform efficiency. Seek opportunities to optimize and automate IT and business processes using ServiceNow modules.Qualifications: --
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent work experience required. Minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow design, development, configurating, and administration. Extensive expertise with ServiceNow development tools, including Flow Designer, UI Policies, Business Rules, Client Scripts, and ACLs. Strong experience integrating ServiceNow with other systems using REST/SOAP APIs. Deep understanding of ServiceNow platform administration, security, governance, upgrades, and instance management. Advanced knowledge of ITSM, ITAM, CMDB, and related ServiceNow modules. Proven track record of leading ServiceNow implementations and optimizations in enterprise environments. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues effectively. Excellent communication and leadership skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders. ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) preferred. ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) preferred. Compensation Range: $115,000 - $167,000
This position is bonus eligible.
