ICF is seeking an experienced Senior ServiceNow Architect. You will be part of an established team supporting our federal client in Washington, DC.
Our Digital Modernization Division is an information technology and management consulting department that offers integrated, strategic solutions to its public and private-sector clients. The Team:
CMS Office of Information Technology would like to continue to leverage the SNOW platform to achieve greater operational efficiencies through automating manual business processes and more real-time reporting and analytics to improve staff productivity, identify opportunities for improvement and issues requiring resolution, and improve the end-user experience. Specifically, CMS would like to leverage the full ServiceNow capabilities to meet the needs of this demand. The goals for this effort are to provide the human center design-based architecture and implementation support for CMS to leverage ServiceNow to improve the end-user experience, automate business processes, enable real-time collection of data, analysis, monitoring, and reporting, and ultimately improve business operations and effectively utilize resources. Moreover, the goal is to assist CMS in capturing, rationalizing, consolidating, migrating, and modernizing its legacy business management applications portfolio to a standardized modern platform that provides ease of integration with other CMS technology platforms; research, develop, and prototype new requirements.
The Work
As a ServiceNow Solutions Architect, you will be a crucial member of our ServiceNow practice, responsible for providing expertise in all facets of the ServiceNow platform. Your primary role will be to design and architect comprehensive solutions that meet our client's business requirements while aligning with industry best practices. Working collaboratively with various teams, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of ServiceNow projects. Your responsibilities include:
Solution Design and Architecture: Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to gather requirements, understand business processes, and design robust and scalable ServiceNow solutions. You will be responsible for creating detailed technical designs that align with the client's needs and leverage the capabilities of the ServiceNow platform effectively.
Technical Consultation: Act as a trusted advisor to clients and project teams, providing expert guidance on ServiceNow capabilities, customization options, and best practices. Assist in identifying potential challenges and propose innovative solutions to address them.
Customer Presentations: Present proposed solutions to potential clients, explaining the technical details clearly and understandably. This may involve interacting with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Implementation Support: Work closely with project managers, developers, and other teams to support the implementation of ServiceNow solutions. You will provide technical oversight and hands-on keyboard support and ensure the design is accurately translated into a functional solution.
Integration and Automation: Design and oversee the integration of ServiceNow with other systems and applications to create seamless workflows and automate business processes. Ensure data consistency and integrity across different platforms.
Performance Optimization: Conduct performance analysis and optimizations to enhance the overall efficiency and responsiveness of ServiceNow solutions. Identify and address bottlenecks to improve system performance. Support two platform upgrades each year and WSD product upgrades as requested.
Security and Compliance: Ensure that all ServiceNow solutions adhere to security best practices and compliance requirements. Collaborate with security teams to implement robust security measures and maintain a secure environment.
Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Create comprehensive technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, design specifications, and implementation guidelines. Contribute to the knowledge base and share best practices within the team.
Continuous Learning: Stay updated on the latest advancements in ServiceNow technologies, tools, and industry trends. Continuously enhance your expertise to provide cutting-edge solutions and innovative approaches.
Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through effective communication, understanding their needs, and delivering high-quality solutions that exceed their expectations.
Position Responsibilities:
Formulates and defines system scope and objectives.
Prepares detailed specifications for programs.
Responsible for program design, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation.
Technical knowledge and responsibility of all phases of applications systems analysis and programming.
Understand the business or function for which the application is designed.
Instructing, directing, and checking the work of other technical team members.
Full Stack Developer Engineer who can handle all the work of databases, servers, systems engineering, and clients.
Has an understanding of front and back-end web development.
Experience with programming languages and databases including AngularJS, PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript
Required Skills and Certifications:
Certified ServiceNow Administrator and certified Application Developer with additional certifications in a minimum of two of the following: ITOM, ITSM, HRSD, CSM, WSD, and/or Service Portal.
5+ years of experience developing on the ServiceNow platform.
12+ years of IT application system experience in technology solution delivery.
12+ years of experience with platform customization in relevant delivery platforms
3+ years of experience developing and customizing core applications such as Incident, Problem, Change, Knowledge, and Service Catalog.
2+ years of experience with custom application development including Custom Service Portal widget creation. Experience with rebuilding legacy applications in ServiceNow is a plus.
2+ years of experience working and developing with JavaScript - HTML5, Jelly, jQuery, and AngularJS.
2+ years experience leading and mentoring Junior ServiceNow team members
2+ years of experience implementing systems using the Agile/Scrum methodology
1+ years of experience with workplace service delivery for reservation management, including integration with Outlook.
US Citizenship or Green Card is required (required by the federal government for this position).
Must be able to get a Public Trust.

Preferred Skills:
Experience with ServiceNow License Management
3+ years of experience with HRSD including at least two successful deployments of an HR solution from initiation to deployment
Experience building APIs through MuleSoft.
Integration experience (SOAP, REST, JSON, JDBC, and file imports).
Administration of a ServiceNow instance including managing users, groups, and roles, CMS Development, ACLs, business rules, workflows, UI actions, UI policies, dictionary, and catalog items Orchestration and Discovery experience is a plus.

The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is:
