Key Responsibilities

Conduct requirements analysis for development of new features/components, enhancements to existing components and maintenance.Participate or Lead in design discussions, design/code walkthrough meetings.Design, develop, review, test, deploy and support out of the box and custom solutions in the platform.Maintain compliance with established security protocols and coding standards for Swift.Ensure compliance to Swift reference architecture and requirement/design artefacts.Ensure compliance to Swift development and release methodologies (CM/CI/CD).Navigate and adapt to various environments providing support for and working closely with customers.Contribute to production work including deployments and incident and problem management.Provide technical guidance to customers and act as mentor to junior team members. May give presentations to management and customers.

What It Takes To Succeed in this position

Seeking a ServiceNow Developer with a minimum of 5 years software development experience, showcasing solid skills in ITSM/ITAM.Experience in setting up and handling both out of the box and custom applications.Ability to demonstrate experience with figuring out best possible solution.Good understanding of software lifecycle development.Must be comfortable working independently with minimal oversight as well as comfortable working in a team setting swarming and peer programming.Excellent problem solving and analytics skills, with demonstrable experience in gathering requirements and translating them into technical deliveries.Demonstrate superb communication skills and be confident communicating ideas and designs to different partner levels.

Qualifications

Required Skills:

ServiceNow System Administrator and Application Developer CertificationServiceNow HAM or SAM Implementation Specialist Certification and/or 5+ years of ServiceNow ITAM Development and Administration experience2+ years of CSDM/CMDB development and management2+ years of discovery with custom patterns and system administration1+ years of integrations (VMWare, SCCM, SAP, OEM)2+ years of experience with Asset Management developmentExperience with creating and maintaining ServiceNow objects like tables, business rules, client scripts, UI actions, UI policies, script includes, workflows etc.Experience with User Management including groups, users, roles, ACLs, etc.

Preferred Skills:

JavaScript and Web/Service Portal developmentServiceNow DevOps integrations with CI/CD tool setsDiscoveryService MappingEvent Management

The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position in Virginia is $92,120.00 to $171,080.00 USD. Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. Our compensation packages include a competitive base salary and bonus opportunity for all employees contingent on personal and company performance.
