The Opportunity:
CACI is seeking a Senior Developer to develop highly complex, mission-critical scoped and global applications for the Department of Homeland Security. As a Senior Developer, you will be part of a development team working alongside of architects, scrum masters, business analysts, project managers and testers focused on the delivery of various ServiceNow applications. As the ideal candidate, you will be able to think critically in solving urgent mission issues, supporting end to end platform development from back-end configuration to Self-Service Portals.
Responsibilities:
Build high-quality, clean, scalable, and reusable code in ServiceNow by enforcing best practices around software engineering architecture and processes (Code Reviews, Unit testing, etc.)Advise team and customers on best practices and how to implement the necessary changes to address their business needs in the ServiceNow Platform; recommend alternatives and perform gap analysis to identify unaddressed needs.Work with the product owners to understand detailed requirements and own your code from design, implementation, test and delivery of high-quality product to our users.Collaborate day-to-day with an energetic team of like-minded developers, business analysts, scrum master, project manager, and testers using agile software development methodology.Sustain and improve the process of knowledge sharing throughout the team.Actively participate in agile daily scrums and ceremonies, updating stories daily in ServiceNow documenting development progress and collaborating across platform teamsSupport and participate in customer requirement workshops, working with product owner/stakeholders to configure requested items and tasks using Flow Designer to manage processes and meet business requirements.Provide technical guidance and support to junior and mid-level staff.Design, create and configure Notifications, UI Pages, UI Macros, Script Includes, Formatters, etc.Design, create and configure Business Rules, UI Policies, UI Actions, Client Scripts and ACLs including advanced scripting of each (including CMS/Service Portal and ITSM)Support in the development of use cases and testing procedures, ensuring product functionality, debugging, and testing is completed prior to production deployment.Create and maintain system design and operations documentation.Ensure all development is created in alignment with ServiceNow technical best practices.
Qualifications:
Required:
Ability to attain DHS EODBA + 10 years’ applicable experience, AA + 12 years’ applicable experience, MA + 7 years applicable experience or 16years’ experienceExtensive understanding of the ways in which ServiceNow can be configured and customized, as well as scripting within the tool.Solution design and architecture leveraging best practices and OOTB capabilities.Proven ability to deliver complex products with multiple stakeholders.Experience using the Workflow Editor to configure workflows.Proven to work independently in a fast paced and often multi-direction work environment Team oriented, strong interpersonal and communication skills.Experience working closely with others to capture business requirements, translate them into technical specifications and develop them within ServiceNow.Understanding the ServiceNow upgrade process to include duration, rollback options, and testing.
Desired:
ServiceNow System Admin certification, ServiceNow Application Developer and/or Product line certificationsExperience with Okta and SSO technologies.Experience migrating individual ITSM products (Incident Management, CMDB, Change Management, and Request Management) into ServiceNow.

The proposed salary range for this position is:
$109,800 - $241,600
