We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented senior SharePoint administrator to join our dynamic IT team at BRP. This role is responsible for the management, maintenance, and support of the organization’s SharePoint environment. This role involves the oversight of the day-to-day operations, ensuring the system's availability, reliability, and performance.
\nThe senior SharePoint administrator will collaborate with various departments to understand their needs and provide solutions to improve business processes through SharePoint.
\nYOU’LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:
\n\nManage the SharePoint environment, including site configuration, user permissions, and system updates. \nMonitor SharePoint performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal operation. \nCustomize SharePoint sites and pages to meet the specific needs of different departments. \nProvide technical support to end-users, addressing issues and answering questions related to SharePoint functionality. \nEnsure that the SharePoint environment complies with the organization’s security policies and industry regulations. \nWork closely with IT teams, business units, and stakeholders to understand their requirements and provide SharePoint-based solutions. \nLead SharePoint-related projects, from planning and design to implementation and post-deployment support. \nDocument project requirements, processes, and outcomes. \n\nYOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:
\n\nBachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. \nExtensive experience as a SharePoint Administrator, with a strong understanding of SharePoint Online. \nProficiency in PowerShell scripting and SharePoint Designer. \nExperience with SharePoint development, including custom web parts, site templates, and workflows.\nStrong knowledge of SharePoint architecture, features, and best practices.\nExcellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. \nBilingualism (French and English) is required because of our globally located workforce and daily interface with employees in countries that BRP operates in. \nExperience with Office 365 and related applications. \n\nDo you have other qualifications?
