Kforce has a client in Miami, FL that is seeking a Senior Signal Timing Engineer. Responsibilities: * Traffic Signal Retiming: Lead projects related to signal retiming, including the development, implementation, and optimization of timing plans for coordinated and isolated systems * Design: Create plans and specifications for traffic signal systems, isolated signals, intersection improvements, and signing and marking projects * Traffic Studies & Analysis: Conduct traffic studies and operational analysis using VISSIM, Synchro, and other tools to assess traffic flow and signal operations * Advanced Traffic Management Systems (ATMS): Apply systems engineering principles for the development and deployment of signal and other ATMS * Field Work: Perform field verifications of existing and proposed traffic control devices and make recommendations for improvements * Technical Reports & Client Delivery: Prepare traffic engineering reports, conceptual designs, and technical deliverables, ensuring on-time and on-budget completion * Coordination: Provide technical support and task management for multi-disciplinary transportation projects, collaborating with roadway, structures, environmental, and other teams
