Senior Silicon Photonics Power Characterization and Validation Engineer

NVIDIA Networking is searching for a Silicon Photonics Power Characterization and Validation Engineer, to take ownership of all SiPh IC power characterization and post Si modeling in NVIDIA Networking IC PE team. We require a hardworking, driven, passionate engineer, who thrives in high-paced and dynamic environment, bringing up this new activity from scratch including all of the required research, We offer a dynamic, exciting workplace, with many new learning experiences and interactions with people from different aspects of the company! What you'll be doing:

Research and validate Silicon Photonics power designs with a strong focus on networking technologies.

Design, implement, and execute validation test plans and experiments for high-speed photonics and electrical interfaces.

Identify key aspects and factors impacting the power of a SiPh chips.

Debug, analyze, and resolve issues in silicon performance, power, and signal integrity.

Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including design, architecture, and product engineering, to ensure robust silicon solutions.

Develop and optimize test automation for streamlined validation processes.

What we need to see:

Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field or equivalent experience

Experience of over 5 years in SiPh related fields

Strong understanding of silicon photonics, optical communication systems, and power management.

Strong problem-solving abilities and out-of-the-box thinking.Hand on experience with scopes and lab equipment

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

Experience on automated testing of SiPh chips.

Hands-on experience in silicon validation, test equipment (oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, etc.).

Experience in scripting languages (Python, Perl, etc.)
