Job DescriptionEssential Job Functions:
Develop full stack medical device software, including analyzing system requirements and UX designs.Develop and maintain web applications for AI solutions that handle high volumes of data, focusing on creating intuitive and responsive user interfaces.Assess technical risks and estimate the development effort.Design and implement software solutions that meet the specified requirements.Communicate and document the designs and implementation process.Perform software unit, integration, and system testing to ensure high quality and reliability.Provide regular updates on schedule and technical risks.Work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and backend engineers, to ensure our applications meet high standards of usability and accessibility.Spearhead the integration of cutting-edge technologies and frameworks to keep our development practices ahead of the curve.Diagnose and resolve any issues that arise during the development process.Drive the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and post-launch support.Knowledge and Experience:
B.S. in Computer Science or similar engineering discipline including Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Biomedical Engineering is required. At least 10 years industry experience as a software developer. Regulated industry experience highly desired. Medical device experience is preferred.Proficiency in full stack development, with the ability to analyze system requirements and design software solutions accordingly.Experience in Modern C++.Experience with unit and integration test development using modern test frameworks.Experience with IDEs, toolchains, software configuration management tools (Git).Experience in one or more scripting languages - Python, Ruby, Powershell.Knowledge of signal processing or DL model training.Experience developing models for algorithm validation and verificationExperience in integrating algorithms into a software product and testing them.Experience making well-reasoned design decisions with an understanding of tradeoffs involved.Experience performing root-cause analysisExperience in UI Development using MVVM, MVC architectures.Skills and Abilities:
Proven record of contributing to a MS Windows embedded based product.Strong technical communication skills and demonstrated ability to quickly learn and implement new technologies/tools for development teams. Works independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Understanding of general SW design patterns and principles (SOLID Principles).Strong communication skills.Ability to lift 25 pounds, with or without accommodations.Salary and Benefits:
