We are assisting a Top Tier provider of world class projects, known for delivering cutting-edge technology infrastructure and reliable construction services in their search for an experienced Senior Site Engineer for a Data Centre project in Dublin. As Senior Site Engineer you will oversee and manage engineering activities on construction sites, ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within the budget.
Key Responsibilities & Requirements:
Supervise and manage all site engineering activities to ensure work is executed according to design specifications, standards, and codes.
Perform site inspections to monitor progress and quality of work, ensuring compliance with project plans and specifications.
Work closely with Engineers/Assistant Engineers, subordinates, project managers, architects, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure efficient project execution.
Prepare and review detailed engineering designs, drawings, and specifications.
Oversee the implementation of engineering solutions, ensuring technical accuracy and feasibility.
Provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams and subcontractors.
Maintain accurate and updated records of all site engineering activities, including daily logs, progress reports, and inspection reports.
Strong knowledge of safely executing underground services and the risk control procedures required.
Degree in Construction Management/Civil Engineering or equivalent.
Proven years of experience in site engineering and construction management.
Strong understanding of construction processes, techniques, and industry standards.
Design management process experience is ideal.
Strong knowledge of Lifting Operations.
Proficiency in engineering software and tools such as Viewpoint for Projects/A-Site.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
