Job Summary:
The Senior Site Merchandiser is responsible for the technical implementation, management, and optimization of content across GameStop’s digital channels. This role focuses on utilizing HTML, CSS, and Salesforce Commerce Cloud to build and enhance web pages, ensuring a seamless and high-quality user experience. The Senior Site Merchandiser collaborates with marketing, design, and development teams to support key digital initiatives, including product launches, promotions, and site updates, while maintaining site performance, functionality, and cross-device compatibility.

Key Responsibilities:
Technical Content Creation & Page Development:
Develop and maintain web pages using HTML, CSS, and Salesforce Commerce Cloud, ensuring consistency with design standards, brand guidelines, and best UX practices.Structure and format content (e.g., images, videos, infographics) for landing pages, product listings, and mobile applications.Design and optimize site sections for campaigns, promotions, and seasonal events.Merchandising Strategy Execution:
Implement site merchandising strategies aligned with business goals, collaborating with e-commerce and marketing teams.Oversee and manage content updates, including landing pages, category layouts, and featured product displays.Adjust and enhance product categorization, filtering, and display to improve user experience and conversion rates.Promotions & Campaign Management:
Set up and manage promotional content, product launches, and sales events across digital platforms.Ensure promotional offers are correctly displayed and are consistent across customer touchpoints.Track campaign performance and apply data-driven insights to optimize future efforts.Site Maintenance & Quality Assurance:
Conduct regular audits of web content to ensure accuracy, relevance, and consistency across platforms.Perform testing for responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and overall functionality, ensuring that all pages load quickly and work flawlessly.Collaborate with development teams to address technical issues affecting content display or page functionality.Content Optimization:
Apply SEO best practices to optimize content for search visibility and accessibility.Use analytics to assess content performance, making adjustments to improve engagement and enhance the user experience.Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with design teams to integrate visuals that enhance the website’s aesthetic and align with brand standards.Partner with e-commerce and marketing teams to ensure content is effectively supporting campaign objectives and product launches.Coordinate with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve any technical challenges.Project Management:
Manage content-related projects end-to-end, ensuring deadlines are met, and that updates are completed on schedule.Maintain clear communication with stakeholders regarding project progress, timelines, and deliverables.Analytics & Reporting:
Use Google Analytics, Quantum Metrics, and other tools to monitor user engagement and content performance.Prepare regular reports on content metrics, making data-informed recommendations to enhance user experience and improve site performance.Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Computer Science, or a related field.4+ years of experience in content management, site merchandising, or web development.Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud is required.Familiarity with CMS platforms, including Amplience and experience in SEO and digital strategy.Detail-oriented with excellent project management skills and an ability to handle multiple priorities.Strong analytical skills and experience with Google Analytics, Quantum Metrics, Power BI, or similar platforms.Full-time store positions at GameStop are also eligible to participate in incentive programs, health benefits, paid time off, 401 (k), employee discount and a casual work environment.
