Each day we build on our values of respect, integrity, and accountability to create a culture of inclusion where everyone can thrive at work and beyond. **Responsibilities** We are looking for a Senior Site Reliability Engineer with experience in both hybrid and cloud services who will bring knowledge and creative thinking to drive innovation that will help the service evolve. The ability to deliver high quality code that ensures the baselines of stability and security is a must to be successful in this role. This will be delivered at global cloud scale with impact across tens of thousands of machines. Work together with the team to ensure service quality, availability, and reliability. Participate in live-site and customer support to ensure customers using our services have a great experience. Expect to participate in a regularly scheduled on-call rotation. **Qualifications** **Required/Minimum Qualifications:** · 6+ years technical experience in software engineering, network engineering, or systems administration o OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND 3+ years technical experience in software engineering, network engineering, or systems administration o OR Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND 2+ years technical experience in software engineering, network engineering, or systems administration. . 2+ years experience with service automation and buildout; i.e. ARM, BICEP, Cloud Formation . 2+ years experience in object-oriented languages (like Java or C#) and related frameworks. . 2+ years experience with cloud infrastructures like Azure or AWS and open-source tools and frameworks. **Other Requirements:** Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft background and Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter. **Additional or Preferred Qualifications:** · 7+ years technical experience in software engineering, network engineering, or systems administration o OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND 4+ years technical experience in software engineering, network engineering, or systems administration o OR Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND 3+ years technical experience in software engineering, network engineering, or systems administration o OR Doctorate Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. . Experience with networking (IPV4, IPV6, DNS). Experience working with critical services that require 24x7 availability . Experience with critical service availability, disaster recovery, monitors and alerting. Demonstrated problem solver, self-driven, long-term strategic thinker able to quickly pick up new technologies and industry trends. . Experience and passion for building highly scalable services. Site Reliability Engineering IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $117,200 - $229,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $153,600 - $250,200 per year.
