About the role: Manage environments in cloud. Major work would be on handling Thomson Reuters application installations and troubleshoot application issues on Windows based systems.Application patching, applying product specific application fixes on Assembly and Production systems.End to End application/product testing. Maintain strong links with 1st Level groups as well as Development groups.Maintain relationships with integrators to ensure operational requirements are met.Management of change required to support product enhancement and growth. Provision and maintenance of documentation on system configurations, databases, define methods of working and daily operational procedures. Co-ordination and liaison with operational, product, and development groups in support of projects for business continuity or service enhancements.To follow defined project, implementation and support processes.To follow departmental change management procedures in defining, planning and implementing change in such a way that service disruption is minimized, and adherence to Service Level Agreements is ensured. To follow defined incident and problem management procedures in order to log and track issues relating to past problems until satisfactory resolution.On-call responsibilities is required for this RolePerform related duties as assigned or requested. Perform the Incident root cause analysis. Liaison with application development, networks, security, management systems, storage and database teams for resolving respective issues.Determine and correctly resolve server related issues and incidents in a timely manner.Have the ability to run with projects/issues solo as well as work in a team environment. Minimum 6+ years' experience on cloud with Windows based Operating systems. Minimum 2 years' experience with various software applications Windows Administration and Troubleshooting. DevOps in AWS: Experience in AWS DevOps specific services (CodeBuilt, Code Deploy, CodePipeline, ECS, EKS, able to set up CI/CD pipeline on AWSBe a Team Player – work in a collaborative team-oriented environment, share information, respect diverse ideas, interact with customer, partner with cross functional and remote teams.Be Curious & Innovative – continuously update yourself with next generation technology, development tools, and contribute to process development practices. Evaluate new technologies and software products to determine feasibility and desirability of incorporating capabilities within the company's products.Be Agile – with strong sense of urgency and a desire to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment to deliver solutions against strict timelines.
About you:ITIL based release management processes. Experience with Web Applications, Good experience on .NET based Applications. Experience on scripting. Knowledge on any software programming language.Knowledge on DatabaseWorking knowledge of some scripting language (Shell, Perl, Python).Working knowledge of SQL commandsGood analytical skills (root cause analysis and create solutions to resolve incidents). Good verbal and written communication skills.Have a strong desire to identify ways for improving processes and documentation.
