WHERE YOU’LL FIT WITHIN THE TEAM


We’re seeking a Social Media Senior Manager  to help evolve Bain’s global social media strategy. This role requires expertise in social media, data-driven content planning, digital storytelling, and strong stakeholder management skills.


In this position, you’ll need to balance creative innovation with analytical rigor. As a trusted advisor to senior leadership and a mentor to the social media team, you’ll ensure Bain remains at the forefront of digital engagement.


You’ll drive a data-led content strategy, collaborate with stakeholders to align organic content with paid opportunities, secure buy-in, and lead forward-thinking planning.


You’ll challenge norms and identify impactful opportunities to elevate marketing through social media. You’ll also guide senior leaders in social selling, influencer strategies, and social recruitment.


With strong data analytics skills, you’ll transform insights into action, ensuring our listening and monitoring tools provide valuable insights for planning, content creation, and measuring success. You’ll refine processes, improve efficiencies, coaching team members, and promote cross-functional collaboration. A proven social media specialist, you’ll set the tone for success.


WHAT YOU’LL DO


Drive the implementation of a data-driven global social media content strategy Lead improvements in content planning, creativity, and measurementEstablish and monitor KPIs to evaluate the success of our social media effortsOversee the creation of bold, engaging, on-brand content for Bain’s global social media accounts, ensuring alignment with our brand guide and messagingBe a strategic partner for our Talent teams, driving the vision for their paid media spend, campaign planning and future digital opportunities. Reporting the success of this approach to the Global Talent Marketing CoE on a quarterly basisTrusted advisor to senior leaders, offering guidance on social media best practices and innovationFoster collaboration and a culture of innovation within the team and across the Marketing and Talent teams, for social media Proactively manage brand and reputational risks across social platformsRepresent the Social Media Team in Marketing department initiatives and deputize for the head of team as needed Monitor trends and emerging platforms to keep Bain at the forefront of digital innovation


ABOUT YOU


7+ years of relevant Social Media and/or Digital Marketing experience Paid and organic social media experience is essential. (Talent Marketing experience preferred) Expert in social content development and best practices Experience in managing data listening tools (Brandwatch preferred) and implementing successful data-led strategies and content plans Proven experience in complex stakeholder management and/or change management Strong proficiency in social media analytics tools required (Sprinklr, Brandwatch and Google Analytics preferred)Extensive experience in organic and paid social essential (Employee advocacy or influencer marketing preferred)Experience leading colleagues/agency contacts producing social media content to high standards, under tight deadlinesExperience crafting and implementing social media strategy Experience with AI tools in a content creation or optimization capacity preferredProven ability to train or mentor team members


U.S. Compensation Information 

 

Compensation for this role includes base salary, annual discretionary performance bonus, 401(k) plan with an annual employer contribution based on years of service and Bain’s best in class benefits package (details listed below). 

 

Some local governments in the United States require a good-faith, reasonable salary range be included in job postings for open roles. The estimated annualized compensation for this role is as follows:


In Chicago state, the good-faith, reasonable annualized full-time salary range for this role is between $138,500 - $165,500 placement within this range will vary based on several factors including, but not limited to experience, education, licensure/certifications, training and skill level 


In Washington D.C., the good-faith, reasonable annualized full-time salary range for this role is between $145,000 - $173,000 placement within this range will vary based on several factors including, but not limited to experience, education, licensure/certifications, training and skill level
