JOB DESCRIPTION

The Senior Social Media Producer will be a creative force behind our social media content production and strategy. This role requires someone who has a finger on the pulse of social media trends and can harness their creativity to produce engaging content that aligns with the FOX News Media brand. As a team leader, you’ll be helping craft platform-specific content that captivates our audience and solidifies our brand's presence across social networks.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Create and curate compelling content across all social media platforms, including but not limited to Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and YouTube.

Oversee the social media content calendar, ensuring a consistent and strategic posting schedule.

Mentor a team of social media content creators, providing guidance and support in their day-to-day tasks.

Execute a cohesive social media content strategy that aligns with the brand's voice, goals, and key performance indicators (KPIs).

Generate innovative ideas for content campaigns that drive engagement, increase followers, and encourage brand interaction.

Analyze social media performance data to understand the effectiveness of different content types and strategies, adjusting plans accordingly for optimal reach and engagement.

Monitor trends in social media tools, applications, channels, design, and strategy.

Collaborate with other departments, such as Marketing and Sales to ensure a unified brand message and to amplify promotional content.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience.

A minimum of 5 years of experience in social media management and content creation with a proven track record.

Strong understanding of the nuances and best practices for various social media platforms.

Proficiency in content creation tools, photography, graphic design, video editing, and social media management tools.

Excellent copywriting and editing skills tailored to each social media platform.

Ability to interpret and act on analytics to improve social media strategies and campaigns.

Creative thinker with strong problem-solving and able to adapt to changing algorithms and audience preferences.

High level of organization and experience managing content calendars and deadlines.

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is: $95,000.00-117,000.00 annually for New York City and Westchester County, NY. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
