Position Summary: Perforce is searching for a Senior Software Architect to join the team. The Senior Software Architect at Perforce will define and build robust, scalable products that directly impact customers. Their expertise will guide the development of scalable, reliable, and high-performance solutions, ensuring they align with business objectives and technical standards. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and developers to drive architectural direction, innovate with emerging technologies, and mentor junior engineers. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of delivering high-quality software in a fast-paced, agile environment. Responsibilities:Design and deliver technology solutions from scratch leveraging industry trends, ability to hyper scale productsDefine system specifications based on company needsTranslate complex requirements into technical architectureProvide presentation to executive when requiredCommunicate system requirements to development teamsEvaluate and select appropriate software or hardware and suggest integration methodsOversee programs, conduct code reviews, and provide team guidanceTroubleshoot and resolve technical challenges as they ariseEnsure implementation of agreed architecture and infrastructureAddress technical concerns and suggestionsMonitor systems to ensure they meet user and business goalsEnsure timely delivery of enterprise-quality productsContribute to Open Source and commercial productsDrive initiatives for process improvement, quality metrics, communication, and toolingRequirements:BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent15+ years of professional experience, with at least 3+ years as a Software ArchitectProficient in at least two programming languages: Ruby, Java, React, GoKnowledge of gRPC, microservices, and cloud technologiesStrong understanding of DevOpsProficient with Linux and Windows build toolsExperience with multiple Linux distributions (e.g., RedHat, Ubuntu, Debian)Familiarity with Continuous Integration systems like JenkinsExperience with Configuration Management systemsSkilled in compiling software with open-source toolchainsExperience with version controlExcellent troubleshooting skillsExperience with multinational companies preferredBuilding technology vision and roadmapCome work with us!
