Key job responsibilities
Prime Video Sports is looking for a passionate Senior Software Engineer to lead the team that owns publishing capabilities for creation, validation, reconcilation, enrichment and publishing of live event metadata sourced from various providers. The ideal candidate has strong engineering background, experience building products from the ground up and balancing speed with accuracy. They have a deep understanding of building highly scalable and resilient systems. They lead the initiatives to continuously improve the platform by removing bottlenecks and inefficiencies. They mentor engineers to improve their architecture, design and coding skills. They lead e2e features across their own team, partner teams and stakeholders.
A day in the life
- Lead engineers to deliver impactful projects across multiple teams and orgs.
- Work cross-functionally to help drive business decisions with your technical input.
- Actively participate in team mechanisms such as standups, sprint planning, story grooming & provide project updates etc..
- Participate in design discussions, code reviews, and communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Work in a startup-like development environment, where you’re always working on the most important stuff
