Duties and Responsibilities\n\nCollaborate with team to understand, create, and\/or modify web applications using technologies such as Java, SQL, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Python.\nActively participate in a self-driven Agile Scrum team and all related ceremonies\nActively involved in all aspects of the software development life cycle from requirements definition and maintenance to testing, troubleshooting, and customer support in addition to software development responsibilities.\nDesign and implement feature changes within a team environment with minimal direction.\nCommunicate regularly with team lead and customer to ensure effective work partnerships.\nHelp lead \/ mentor more junior members on the team and offer troubleshooting assistance, while being able to resolve higher complexity issues.\n\n
Requirements\n\nBS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technology field and minimum seven (7) years of experience.\nDesign solutions to customer requests based on established requirements and resolve defects identified during testing phases.\nComfortable working full-time in a remote environment with reliable access to internet connectivity. Responsive and responsible communication through technology with remote teammates\nDevelop and maintain interface connections and testing capabilities.\nStrong problem solving and troubleshooting skills to resolve complex issues when escalated beyond other team members' skill levels.\nAble to work and thrive in both individual and team-based development environments.\nExperience with development under Linux-based systems, such as Red Hat Enterprise Linux.\nFamiliar with Linux shell scripting.\n\n
Skills Of Interest\n\nHigh skill level with SQL.\nExperience with Continuous Integration and Delivery.\nFamiliar with common IDE's such as VS Code and Eclipse.\nFamiliar with Atlassian suite such as JIRA, BitBucket, Bamboo, and Confluence.\nExperience with production life cycle support.\nExperience with JavaScript, Java, HTML, and CSS.\nFamiliar with object-oriented software development practices.\nFamiliar with agile and\/or scrum software development life cycle (SDLC) approaches.\n\n
