The Customer Intelligence R&D team is looking for an exceptional Senior Software Development Engineer in Test t

who loves to develop and support robust quality engineering solutions at every software development lifecycle layer.  Empower your team to deliver enterprise-grade software to production by engineering quality into our continuous delivery pipeline.

 

CI360 Data Engineering is looking to the future, and how we can best support our internal and external customers by leveraging the latest in Generative AI within our solutions. As a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test, you will:

Design, create, and maintain the highest quality of test automation that fails fast, uses modern development techniques, and provides key data points to support metrics-based decision-makingApply your automated tests at every layer of the application stack, both inside and outside of our continuous delivery pipelineUnderstand the role of deployment, migration, security, and performance in the continuous delivery lifecyclePractice effective techniques for deploying and operating SAS software in a multi-cloud environmentDevelop and maintain authentic data sets used to test our systems at an enterprise levelDeploy and support high-value test environments where neededDrive enhancements to observability that elevate the resiliency and robustness of the applications under test

Required Qualifications

8 years of experience in writing software applications, testing software, and/or general programming, including some experience leading projectsBachelor's degree in computer science or related quantitative fieldAn equivalent combination of related education, training, and experience may be considered in place of the above qualifications.6 years of industry experience in the object-oriented programming language Python6 years of industry experience with web-based microservices, REST interfaces, and the OpenAPI 3 specification6 years of industry experience in open-source test automation frameworks like Selenium, Robot, Cypress, Pytest, Appium, Espresso, or XCTestYou’re curious, passionate, authentic and accountable. Demonstrates the ability to teach progressive test development techniques like the Page Object Model (POM), Behavior Driven Development (BDD), and test parallelizationDemonstrates the ability to distinguish between testing layers and match the correct approach to each situationExperience developing innovative best practice solutions that improve quality engineering across team or divisional boundariesBeing a responsive, flexible, accountable, team player; capable of task prioritization and context switching to support multiple releasesAbility to pivot quickly and seamlessly toward areas of needAccelerates the capability of teams independently without guidanceAdvances the culture of Enterprise Quality through internal and external platforms
