What You Will Do:
Be a thought leader and key contributor within the DevX team Independently design and implement thoughtful features and apps Mentor junior peers and contribute to the success of teammates via code reviews, to ensure adherence to industry best practices Independently own and maintain existing web apps and UI core libraries Regularly provide support to internal customers and create/deliver training sessions. Author clear and concise documentation to reduce support costs Relentlessly partner with designers to build consistent experiences at scaleMinimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or CS-related field 5+ years of professional experience as a software engineer OR a minimum of three years with an advanced degree 1+ years of recent experience in React Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+) Proficiency in responsive design and cross-browser compatibility Knowledge of RESTful APIs and integration with front-end applications Understanding of web performance optimization techniques Experience with full-stack development, including back-end languages such as TypeScript Command-line experience in macOS or Linux Ability to work independently and as part of a team Outstanding written and verbal communication skillsBonus Points for:
Hands on experience with Google Cloud Platform, Amazon Web Services, or Azure Experience with Postgres or MySQL Experience with testing frameworks and tools such as Jest, Mocha, or Cypress and frontend testing tools such as React Testing Library Familiarity with UI/UX principles and best practices and accessibility standards (W3C and WCAG) GCP certification(s) Coding experience in Python Experience using any of the following technologies: NestJS, Figma, Flask, Node.js, Okta, Slackbots, OpenAI Experience using any of the following tools: Terraform, Concourse, Jira, GitHub, Sentry.IO, VSCode, Docker, DataGrip Knowledge of HIPAA, HITRUST, or ISO

The expected salary range below is applicable if the role is performed from [Illinois] and may vary for other locations. Actual salary may vary based on qualifications and experience. Tempus offers a full range of benefits, which may include incentive compensation, restricted stock units, medical and other benefits, depending on the position.
