Senior Software Engineer - 3DX

The Senior Software Engineer, 3DX will be responsible for the development, and customization of applications within the 3DEXPERIENCE platform. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that align with business requirements, ensuring performance optimization, seamless integrations, and compliance with industry best practices.


We are looking for someone enthusiastic about delivering solutions, a strong problem solver that enjoys complex situations and can be creative when coming up with solutions. Someone who is not afraid to raise concerns or risks and can establish shared vision across the company by building consensus on priorities leading to product execution.

This is a hybrid role based out of St. Paul, MN, Naperville, IL, Greensboro, NC or Irving, TX.

What You Will Do

Analyze, design, code, test and debug existing and new programs to support the customization of the Enterprise level 3DX PLM.

Develop Data Migration Scripts in TCL, JPO, and MQL. Develop functional and/or technical approach for data extraction, transformation and loading with strong understanding of engineering PLM scenarios.

Conducts platform validation, gap analysis for capabilities and produces Solution Architecture for configurations and customizations.

Participate in all phases of the application development life cycle including research and design, development, testing, implementation and support.

Influence the Design Development Decisions, Coding and Deployment standards for PLM implementations.

Participate in all phases of the application development life cycle including research and design, development, testing, implementation and support.

Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing and other Solution Architects, Product Manager, and developers to deliver the solutions of highest quality for complex SOWs.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering with five (5) years of experience or no degree and nine (9) years combined education and equivalent work experience

Three (3) years of working experience with 3DX (e.g. Installation/configuration, system administration functionalities, and Visualization (UI)/Configuration Management)

Three (3) years of experience in customization of various centrals such as GLR, GLS, Variant Configuration, Library, Program, Engineering Centrals etc.

Experience in Enovia V5/V6

Experience with ENOVIA latest versions 2023x platform

Prior experience working with global development teams

Excellent communication skills

Experience with Agile development methodologies
