Responsibilities

Oversee software development activities with the engineering team.Guide the creation and support of highly scalable and fault tolerant systems. On-time delivery of quality product is utmost critical for the organization.Collaborate with Senior Engineers, Technical Leads and Manager as well as cross-functional teams to define, design, and clearly articulate those to the Engineering Team.Reinforce best practices in development by conducting regular design and code reviews, and proactively suggest improvements.Mentor and develop technical talent and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring system reliability and performance.Drive process improvements by staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.

Skills and Qualifications [Must Have]

B. Tech/ M. tech/ MCA/ M.Sc. in Computer Science or related discipline with good academic record.Proven Senior Engineer with excellent organizational, project planning and leadership skillsWorking Experience of 5+ years into designing (HLD, LLD) and developing server-side applications in product based medium to large organizationsStrong hands-on development experience with Java/J2EE frameworks like SpringBoot including test driven development.Strong experience working with cloud computing technologies like AWSStrong experience working with microservices, containerization (docker) and event driven architectures (using message brokers like Kafka, SQS/SNS)Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, preferably using GitLab.Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills.Ability to prioritize well, communicate clearly, and have a consistent track record of delivery.

Skills and Qualifications [Good To Have]

Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile teams.Experience with Rest and GraphQL API Architectural Styles.Experience in working with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform.Background in having worked in commerce teams.
