This Dublin-based permanent role will add to our high-performing global Engineering team. Position Overview What We're Looking For: We're looking for an ambitious and motivated team player with a strong technical background and a focus on scaling great ideas, collaborating effectively in the team and beyond to deliver high quality solutions for our end users. The ideal candidate is a self-starting, motivated and high-performing individual who looks forward to being a strong contributor in a dynamic technology organization at a major bank. This complex role is on a team of highly talented technologists delivering solutions to the global markets business, providing front to back funding and liquidity metrics across a spectrum of capital market products. Our senior software engineer will be responsible for design, development, and delivery of comprehensive end-to-end detailed solution with accountability for the technical design and delivery of the System Design Specification (SDS). They will be exposed to stretch assignments as they take on large-scale, complex and/or enterprise-wide projects. This is an opportunity to influence strategic technology solutions on the cutting edge. Required Qualifications · Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience · Strong background in Computer Science fundamentals including algorithms, data structures, computational complexity. · Excellent communication and teamwork skills · Experience with delegating & guiding the work of Jr and mid-level Engineers.
