Senior Software Engineer

Leidos is hiring multiple Poly-Cleared Software Engineers in the Ft. Meade area, MD!

All candidates require an active TS/SCI with Poly to be considered for the role.

Program Overview

We love this program...and our extensive incumbent knowledge has allowed Leidos to shine! Significant requirements include Mission Management, Operations, and Sustainment activities. The team will provide 24x7x365 support to multiple Operations Teams and will feature 1st/2nd/3rd Party Partner Engagement.

Job Summary

The Software Engineer develops, maintains, and enhances complex and diverse software systems (e.g., processing-intensive analytics, novel algorithm development, manipulation of extremely large data sets, real-time systems, and business management information systems) based upon documented requirements.

Reviews and tests software components for adherence to the design requirements and documents test results. Resolves software problem reports.

Utilizes software development and software design methodologies appropriate to the development environment.

Provides input to the software components of system design to include hardware/software trade-offs, software reuse, use of Commercial Off-the-shelf (COTS)/Government Off-the-shelf (GOTS) in place of new development, and requirements analysis and synthesis from system level to individual software components.

Required Qualifications

Active TS/SCI with polygraph

BS and 20+ years experience as a Software Engineer OR 24 years of Software Engineering experience without a degree

Preferred Qualifications

FORNSAT

Object-oriented programming languages

Pay Range:Pay Range $144,300.00 - $260,850.00
