Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Software Engineer to join our team! In this role you will get to lead the development of novel AI solutions and software products.
What You'll Be Doing:
Leading a small team of software engineers to develop state-of-the-art machine learning and artificial intelligence (ML/AI) solutions and products
Recognized as a leader in the application of ML/AI within the DoD, our work includes automated pattern-of-life learning, anomaly detection, predictive analysis, plan recognition, & advanced sense-making
Tackling some of the most challenging problems facing our Intelligence Community and Space Guardians
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline with 10+ years of industry experience. Relevant experience, applicable training and/or certifications may be substituted for the bachelor’s degree.
Experience leading a software engineering team and project
Strong Java software development skills with experience in full stack application development
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, flexible environment, and taking the initiative to learn new tools and concepts quickly
Excellent communication skills, in both spoken and written English
US Citizen with ability to obtain Top Secret Clearance and DCID eligibility for SCI
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
Experience with Web Development and JavaScript Programming
Experience with Semantic Web technologies, Kubernetes, Kafka, and/or Linux OS
Experience with inferential statistics and probabilistic reasoning
Experience in automating scalable MLOps pipelines
Experience with machine learning and data science tools (e.g., Jupyter, TensorFlow, scikit-learn, etc)
Experience with All-Source Intelligence Analysis
Experience deploying software to DoD classified systems & networks
