Senior Software Engineer
**Job Requisition ID #** 24WD82205 **Responsibilities** : Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs. Analyze user needs and develop software solutions, applying principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis. Update software or enhance existing software capabilities. Design and develop optimal code to maintain exceptional performance in processing large volumes of data across diverse sources. Work within a collaborative, Agile environment, to Provide SAP HANA processing subject matter expertise to projects and implements industry best ETL technologies to satisfy client requirements. Engage in SAP HANA 2.0 configuration, architecture, reporting/visualization, predictive analytics and data/solution modelling. Utilize integration technologies, such as Smart Data Access, SLT; virtual data modeling, HANA Studio, Hana Live / Core Data Services; Lumira visualization tool; Smart Business Modeler KPI configuration through SAP Fiori. Design, develop, and test ETL solutions including modeling data warehouse metadata and automating data loading processes. Gather and translate business requirements into analytical applications. Collaborate with other project members and drive the development of BI initiatives. Establish ETL environments according to project requirements. Design and implement an efficient migration process to move ETL objects from development to test and production environments. Perform HANA Life-Cycle Management, importing and exporting HANA models within schemas, performance tuning. Understand database design, programming concepts, data modeling and framework management. Must be available to work on projects at various, unanticipated sites throughout the United States. Telecommuting is permitted. **Minimum Requirements** : Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or in a software engineer-related occupation. Telecommuting is permitted. **Special Requirements** : Position requires at least 2 years of experience in each of the following skills: + Utilize experience with HANA 2.0 Web IDE SPS 2,3,4, Cloud Foundry, SAP Haas, GIT HUB, Multi-Tenant Application, Containers, Synonyms, Table Functions, Stored Procedures, CDS Views, SDI and Flow Graphs, Data Archival. SLT/SDI Data Replication Experience; + Utilize experience with Native HANA Data Modeling Reconciliation process, and technology platform working in: SAP HANA DWProject Deliverable; + Utilize experience with SAP HANA 2.0 configuration, architecture, reporting/visualization, predictive analytics and data/solution modelling. + Experience with native HANA data modeling and HANA SQL script; + Utilize project experience in Advanced modeling concepts including Analytic Views, Attribute Views, Hierarchies, Creating Restricted & Calculated Columns, Filter Operations, Variables, Creating Calculation Views, SAP HANA SQL, SQL Script and Procedures, Currency Conversion, Turning Business Rules into Decision Tables; + Utilize experience with writing functional and technical specifications, testing and training, Integration technologies, such as Smart Data Access, SL T; virtual data modeling, HANA Studio, Hana Live / Core Data Services; Lumira visualization tool; Smart Business Modeler KPI configuration through SAP Fiori. Good knowledge on building HANA views using SDI /SDA and ETL process using Data Services; + Utilize knowledge of SI 4HANA installation Experience with Analytics Cloud Reporting. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $157,647 - $205,000/year. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location.
