What you'll do...

Position: Senior Software Engineer

Job Location:  860 W. California Avenue, Sunnyvale, CA 94086

Duties: Performs coding on website’s software per product and client needs. Meets with the product team to discuss new designs and how the engineering team can implement it. Participate in orchestration efforts and works with back-end engineers to integrate their work with orchestration layer. Works on Graphql schema and integrates with Client apps. Participates in code reviews and ship code on a daily basis. Monitors its performance and addresses any functionality issues on Grafana and Kubernetes dashboards. Participates in 24/7 on-call rotations to troubleshoot production issues across using Dynatrace, Splunk. Takes part in writing yaml definitions to automate Kubernetes deployment of subgraphs on WCNP. Works on CI/CD pipeline using Jenkins and looper technologies.

Minimum education and experience required: Master’s degree or the equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering (any) or related field and 2 years of experience in large scale enterprise software development environment; OR Bachelor's degree or the equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering (any) or related field and 5 years of experience in large scale enterprise software development environment.

Skills required: Experience migrating legacy applications to new experiences, improving customer engagement using JavaScript technologies including NextJS, NodeJS and Typescript. Experience integrating backend API calls with orchestration layer using JavaScript Technologies including Typescript, NodeJS and Graphql. Experience developing single-page applications using HTML, CSS and Javascript. Experience participating in each step of the feature development process, from gathering requirements to developing and improving features using Typescript, NodeJS and Graphql. Experience maintaining front-end shared components using ReactJS, NextJS and Typescript technologies to match given requirements. Experience conducting unit tests using the jest and enzyme testing library for typescripts to ensure 100% code coverage. Experience managing CI/CD pipeline using Jenkins and Looper technologies. Experience participating in 24/7 on-call rotations to troubleshoot production issues across cross-functional teams with the help of tolls including Dynatrace, Splunk and Grafana dashboards. Experience gathering requirements and working towards solutions. Experience working with version control tools including Git and Tortoise SVN to maintain latest code. Employer will accept any amount of experience with the required skills.

Salary Range: $226,158/year to $234,000/year. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives.   Additional compensation for certain positions may also include: Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location) and Stock equity incentives.
