You will have the chance to work on one or more layers of the security stack, ranging from enhancing the Linux kernel security capabilities to virtualization based approaches to securing the operating system, and mission critical online services for supporting these types of security technologies. In addition to a lot of design and coding opportunities, you will interact with and learn from the large Open Source Linux community and engineers from companies across the technology spectrum working on Linux and related projects. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $153,600 - $250,200 per year.
