Senior Software Engineer

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for our consumer small business banking team. The candidate will help maintain and modernize a key consumer banking entitlement application. Learn more about the career areas and business divisions at wellsfargojobs.com.


In this role, you will:

Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environmentsContribute to large scale planning of strategiesDesign, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deploymentsReview moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and proceduresResolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirementsCollaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goalsLead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff


Required Qualifications:

4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education4+ years creating, developing, and maintaining web apps, services, jobs, and/or databases
4+ years experience using .Net Core, ASP.Net, .NET API, Entity Framework using C# 
4+ years experience using developing in SQL (Oracle, SQL Server) and/or NoSQL (Mongo, CosmosDB)
4+ years experience using Java Script technologies like React/ Angular/ JQuery
2+ years experience developing automated test script development/ usage with Java/C# and Selenium and conducting testing
2+ years Azure Cloud experience creating, deploying, and managing web apps, jobs, and services


Desired Qualifications:

An industry-standard technology certificationStrong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsKnowledge and understanding of TDD, BDD, and etc.HTML 5 and CSS experienceWorking experience in Agile/Scrum teamsMVC (Model-View-Controller) Framework experienceExperience with Azure AppInsights, Portal, DevOps, and other Azure elements.

Pay Range
 

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.

$84,000.00 - $149,400.00
