Senior Software Engineer
**About this role:** Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer. Individual contributor role; Primary responsibility is to own development and provide architecture, design and automation solutions to make the development process better and faster. Takes a key role in driving the usage of latest technology/Frameworks. Motivates the team to use the tools that improve the quality of the product. Motivated to transform the technology platform. **In this role, you will:** + Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments + Contribute to large scale planning of strategies + Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments + Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures + Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements + Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals + Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff **Required Qualifications:** + B.Tech or equivalent with 8+ years of experience in developing enterprise software solutions, preferably in the Banking and Lending space. + 8+ years experience in Java + Hands on Experience of Databases, Oracle, SQL Server, MongoDB & Redis + Experienced in Springboot, Restful API Development, Microservices, KAFKA, APIGEE + Web and UI development experience with JavaScript/Angular/REACT + DEVOPS – CI CD pipeline (Github, jenkins, Splunk), Kubernetes + Expert in Domain Driven Design, BDD, TDD and microservices + Good knowledge in cloud platform like Azure, GCP + Understanding and experience with full software development life cycles - Agile (Scrum) + Exposure to scaled Agile - ART **Desired Qualifications:** + Knowledge in Banking mortgage domain + Ability to work well in a team and individually. + Strong exposure and experience with full software development life cycles - Agile (Scrum and/or Kanban), Waterfall, Iterative Methodologies. + Development experience with multi-tier enterprise level applications. **Posting End Date:** 28 Oct 2024 **_*Job posting may come down early due to volume of applicants._** **We Value Diversity** At Wells Fargo, we believe in diversity, equity and inclusion in the workplace; accordingly, we welcome applications for employment from all qualified candidates, regardless of race, color, gender, national origin, religion, age, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, genetic information, individuals with disabilities, pregnancy, marital status, status as a protected veteran or any other status protected by applicable law.
